This book has a lot of good information but it is really a pamphlet, not a book. I enjoyed it but I was disappointed by the length. I wish the author could have put more effort in and done a bigger book or even interviewed some of the members from the BGF. This almost reads like a police dossier instead of a nonfiction book. But I will definitely check out more of the authors work and post reviews of my opinion on what he is doing. I think more needs to be written on prison gangs, their history and the characters that were influential in their creation and in keeping them a viable factor in prison, the streets and popular culture. Gabe, I respect your work and the detail that is in your books, however this book is way too small! The font is painfully small and it is an arduous chore to even read this miniature book. I can't believe something like this even passed muster. The pictures are too small as well, this book is basically worthless as it is. Please redo this book in a normal sized font and with pictures that we dont need a magnifying glass to look at. I am really disappointed.
